Applicants must have one of the following: High School Diploma, GED, or be eligible for Mature Student Status. Applicants must be 18 by the time that their on the job training takes place (approximately 10 months after program start date).
Applicants must provide the following documentation: Completed application, criminal records check, resume, 2 completed reference forms (online), and proof of basic requirements.
Upon submitting the listed documentation applicants will meet with a representative of Ravensberg College for a final admissions interview.
Classes are Monday through Thursday from 08:45 am to 4:00 pm
4 day school week.Your 2 year diploma is compressed to just 56 weeks.

Our program has gone through a lengthy approval process by the Department of National Defence and the Nova Scotia Department of Education. A Diploma from Ravensberg College qualifies as a prerequisite for entrance into the Military Police.

The Law Enforcement Foundations program is an accelerated 2 year diploma which is carried out over 13 months. Cadets attend classes Monday – Thursday from 8:45am – 4pm. During the course of your Diploma you will undergo 180 hours of on the job training.
